For mobile leak detection, a team of specialists works hand in hand with insurance companies, builders, Property maintenance companies and the public to conduct investigations of properties with potential leaks and moisture problems.
Your insurer will typically request a leak detection investigation or refer your plumber for undetectable leaks in internal plumbing.
There are three different types of plumbing; Sewerage, stormwater drainage and drinking water.
Sanitary drainage system
A sanitary sewerage system helps remove waste water. This system contains a series of tubes specially designed for the disposal of waste. This waste comes from things like doing laundry and throwing food down the drain. Once the waste enters the pipes, it is sent to a local sewage system.
Storm Drainage Systems
You may have noticed these little holes in the sidewalk. These are called rain gutters. These are used to divert excess water away from a home. Water that ran down a gully used to end up in a sewage system. And in some areas, they still do. Nowadays, however, rainwater is channelled into a storm sewer.
Here are some common signs of poorly functioning gutters:
· Painting begins to detach from the house
· Gutters are cracked
· Gutters are split
· Your house has been damaged due to Realignment of Pipes.

The Bucket Test
The bucket test is an industry-renowned method of detecting a leak in your pool. How to do it...
Fill a bucket to the brim with pool water and place it in the pool. Make sure the rim is above the pool water level and ensure the bucket will not tip over and continue to fill.
At the beginning of the test, use a pencil to mark where the pool water is.
If after a few days, the water in the pool has dropped more than the water in the bucket, then you have a leak!
